X-ray Technologist (ARRT)

Big Sky Mobile Imaging is hiring a skilled, compassionate X-ray Technologist to join our team in Gillette, Wyoming. You would be the imaging provider for a specialty Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Center, producing the diagnostic images that support the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, osteoporosis, autoimmune disease and other musculoskeletal conditions.

It is a good fit for an imaging professional who likes a patient-focused outpatient setting, consistent weekday hours and a small collaborative clinical team. Unlike most of our roles, this one is based at a single clinic rather than travelling a region.

What you would do.

• Perform digital radiographic exams in an outpatient specialty clinic
• Position patients safely and comfortably while producing diagnostic-quality images
• Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Practise radiation safety in line with ALARA guidelines
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures with professionalism and compassion
• Keep accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Run routine quality control and equipment checks
• Work closely with rheumatologists, clinical staff and other healthcare professionals
• Keep the imaging environment clean, organised and compliant

What we are looking for.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification or limited license, required
• Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license, or eligibility for licensure
• DEXA certification and experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
