Digital X-ray without the hospital trip. Portable or in-clinic, same-day in covered markets, and read by our teleradiology partner.

Understanding X-ray

What an X-ray is.

An X-ray is a quick, low-dose imaging test that produces a picture of the inside of the body, most often bones and the chest. It is one of the most common first-line imaging tests because it is fast, widely available, and easy to order.

Providers commonly order an X-ray to look at things like suspected fractures, joint and bone pain, chest and lung concerns, or follow-up on a known condition. Your ordering provider decides when an X-ray is the right test. Big Sky coordinates and captures the imaging; interpretation is handled by Rapid Radiology, and results go back to the ordering provider.
